Get On The Lawn landscaping website with yellow and green branding

Landscaping · Grimsby, Ontario

Get On The Lawn

A bold, high-contrast website for a landscape specialist. Striking yellow and green branding gives the company a recognisable presence, and the layout guides homeowners from the services offered toward requesting an estimate.

  • Bold brand-led visual identity
  • Service-first navigation
  • Clear path to an estimate request

Cleared Landscape website for forestry mulching and land clearing services

Related land services · Springfield, Georgia

Cleared Landscape

A land clearing and site preparation crew, not a lawn maintenance company, but the same principles apply. Earthy colours and real equipment photography explain forestry mulching, land clearing and site prep, while the mobile layout keeps the phone and estimate request close at hand.

  • Distinct pages for each service
  • Real equipment and job-site imagery
  • Phone and estimate always within reach on mobile

— What goes into the site

Built around how landscaping customers buy.

Every landscaping company website design we deliver is scoped to the business. These are the building blocks we most often use, and what each one is meant to do for you.

Project galleries that sell the work

Grouped by service, with before-and-after pairs and short captions that explain the job. Homeowners hire what they can see.

A page for every core service

Lawn care, hardscaping, planting, snow removal, commercial maintenance: each gets its own page, so each can be found and explained properly.

Estimate requests that qualify leads

A short form that captures service, location, timing and optional photos, so you can price before you drive out.

Mobile-first click-to-call

Most visitors arrive on a phone, often standing in their yard. The number and the estimate button stay within thumb reach.

Honest service-area coverage

Clear statements of where you work, backed by real local projects, instead of dozens of thin city pages.

Seasonal campaigns

Spring cleanups, fall aeration, snow contracts. Seasonal landing sections you can switch on as demand shifts.

Fast on rural connections

Compressed images, lazy-loaded galleries and lean pages so the site stays quick on a weak signal.

Search foundations built in

Clean structure, metadata, structured data and a sitemap from day one, connected to Google Search Console.

— Beyond templates

Not just a template. Custom landscaping website development when you need it.

We build professional websites and fully custom software with modern frameworks, databases and APIs. For landscape contractors, that can mean a custom booking system, an estimate builder or a client portal, designed around how your crews actually work.

Option A

Business websites

Best when the website is the product.

  • Marketing sites the owner edits without a developer
  • Galleries, forms, blogs and built-in SEO settings
  • Wix Bookings, Stores and Velo code where the platform supports it
  • Lower ongoing maintenance and hosting handled by Wix
Option B

Custom-built software

Best when the website has to run part of the business.

  • Logic Wix can't handle cleanly: pricing rules, multi-step workflows
  • Custom backend, database and APIs built from scratch
  • Portals, dashboards and role-based logins
  • Integrations with CRMs, payment providers and scheduling tools

Not every project needs custom code. We recommend the right platform after reviewing your needs, and some businesses pair an owner-managed marketing website with a separate custom app.

What we could build for you

Possible, project-specific options. None is included in a standard package; each is scoped and quoted separately.

  • 01

    Online booking for lawn services

Customers choose a service, property size and an open slot, with rules for recurring visits.

  • 02

    Photo and area-based estimate tool

Homeowners upload yard photos or outline an area on a map to get a guided price range for review.

  • 03

Scheduling by crew and service area

Jobs grouped by zone and assigned to crews, so routes stay efficient.

  • 04

    Maintenance plan client portal

Commercial and residential clients see visits, invoices and requests in one login.

  • 05

    CRM lead pipeline

Estimate requests flow into your CRM or a custom dashboard with status and follow-ups.

  • 06

    Deposits and online payments

Secure deposits for installs and recurring billing for maintenance plans.

— The problem

Why generic templates underperform for landscapers.

Landscaping is a visual, local and seasonal business. Off-the-shelf templates are built for none of those things.

01

Your best work is buried

A single slider of stock photos says nothing about the patios, sod installs and cleanups you actually deliver. Prospects leave without seeing proof.

02

Every service is on one page

When lawn care, hardscaping and snow removal share one page, none of them is explained well, and none of them has a clear chance to appear in search.

03

Quoting is harder than calling a competitor

Long forms, hidden phone numbers and desktop-only layouts lose the homeowner who is browsing on a phone between other things.

— Conversion & trust

A quote flow a homeowner can finish in the yard.

Good web design for landscapers removes friction at the moment of decision. We ask for the details you need to price a job, and nothing more. Trust comes from real photos, clear service areas and genuine reviews you already have, shown where people hesitate.

  1. 1Pick a service. Lawn care, hardscaping, cleanup, design and install.
  2. 2Tell us where. Town or postal/ZIP code, checked against your service area.
  3. 3Add timing and photos. Optional, but it saves a site visit.
  4. 4Send, or tap to call. Submissions land in your inbox immediately.

— Local SEO for landscape businesses

Be found for the services you sell, where you sell them.

Landscapers win most of their work within a set driving radius. The site's structure should make that radius, and your services, obvious to people and to search engines.

Information architecture

One page per core service, linked to the projects that prove it. Cleared Landscape, for example, separates forestry mulching, land clearing and site preparation, because people search for each one differently.

Real service areas, no doorway pages

We describe the towns you actually serve, such as the Grimsby area for Get On The Lawn or Springfield, Georgia for Cleared Landscape, and support them with local projects rather than duplicated city pages.

Google Business Profile & Search Console

Your name, address, phone and services are kept consistent with your Google Business Profile. We connect Google Search Console, submit the sitemap and watch for indexing issues after launch.

— Your team, beyond launch

A team behind your website, not just a launch date.

We don't hand you the keys and disappear. Wix Business Pro stays your point of contact for your landscaping website, practical guidance and the next improvement. Just tell us what you need; we'll help you find a sensible way forward.

More time for customers, lawns, landscapes and growing your company. Less time figuring out what broke, which tool to buy or who to call.

Talk to your digital team

One team to come back to.

Design, development, SEO and business systems.

  • Keep your work up to date

Share new project gallery photos, content changes, a new service page or a seasonal promotion. We help your website reflect what your crews are doing now.

  • Make everyday details work better

Contact us about a bug, a confusing page or a quote form that needs refining. We help with fixes, usability improvements and ongoing website maintenance within your agreed support scope.

  • Build on what comes next

Need an integration, a booking flow or a new feature? We talk through the options, explain the costs and scope a solution around your business, not a list of tools.

Keep moving forward. Without chasing every new tool.

As your services and priorities change, we can help you assess better quote conversion, seasonal content, local search opportunities, performance, security and accessibility. Relevant new technologies are worth considering when they solve a real problem, not simply because they're new.

For a regular improvement programme, explore our optional ongoing SEO services and discuss continuing care. The work and review schedule depend on your chosen plan; improvements are agreed, not automatically added.

Useful solutions. Clear costs.

Not every request needs another paid plugin. We look for practical ways to avoid unnecessary subscriptions. Support included with your project follows its agreed scope, with continuing care options available. Larger features, paid integrations, app subscriptions, renewals, hosting and future redesigns are discussed and priced separately where applicable, before work begins.

— A manageable way to get started

Plan the project. Discuss the payments.

Website packages offer flexible payment and installment options, subject to the terms available at checkout. Custom projects are scoped individually, and we can discuss a payment schedule with your proposal.

— How we work

You run the business. We handle the website.

You don't need to speak tech or coordinate separate specialists. Share your goals and examples; we bring the work together and keep you involved in the decisions that matter. Timelines and scope are confirmed in your quote.

  1. Step 01

    Share what you need

Contact us with your goals, service area, project photos and websites you like. We review what you have, plan the pages and agree the scope, schedule and payment terms.

  2. Step 02

    We bring it together

One team coordinates design, development, search foundations and any separately scoped systems. You review clear layouts and give feedback, without managing the technical details.

  3. Step 03

    Launch with confidence

We test the website on phones and computers, check estimate forms and prepare search settings and redirects. You know what is ready and what happens next.

  4. Step 04

    Keep us in your corner

Come back to us for changes, fixes and ideas as your business grows. We explain what is covered by your project or active care plan and agree any extra work first.

— Design vs. SEO

Two jobs, clearly separated.

Web design is the project: structure, visuals, copy, galleries, forms and a technically sound launch. See our web design service.

Ongoing SEO is the monthly work that follows: content, local signals and reporting. See advanced SEO. Results build over time and are never guaranteed by anyone honest.

— FAQ

Questions landscapers ask before hiring us.

How much does a landscaping website cost?

It depends on scope: how many services and service areas need their own pages, how large the project gallery is, whether you need booking or custom estimate logic, and how much copy we write. We review your current site and goals first, then send a written quote. Our standard packages are listed on the pricing page if you want a starting reference.

Can you redesign our current site without losing the Google traffic we already have?

Yes, that is part of the job. Before launch we map your existing URLs, keep the pages that already earn visits, and set up 301 redirects for anything that moves. Titles, headings and internal links are carried over or improved rather than thrown away, and we check Google Search Console after launch for crawl errors.

What is the difference between the SEO you build in and ongoing SEO?

Every site we build ships with a clean technical foundation: crawlable pages, one clear topic per service page, metadata, structured data, fast images and a sitemap. Ongoing SEO is a separate monthly service: content, local signals, Google Business Profile work and reporting over time. You can start with the build and add ongoing SEO later.

Who owns the website and the photos when it is finished?

You do. The site, domain and content are set up in accounts that belong to your business. Your project photos stay yours; we just organise and optimise them for the web.

We have hundreds of job photos. How does the gallery work?

We help you choose the strongest shots, group them by service (patios, sod, cleanups, retaining walls and so on) and compress them so pages stay fast on phones. Before-and-after pairs can be shown side by side. You can add new jobs yourself after launch.

Can customers request an estimate from their phone?

That is the priority. The phone number is tap-to-call on every screen, and the estimate form asks only what you need to qualify a job: service, address or area, rough timing, and optional photos. Submissions go straight to your inbox.

We serve several towns. Do we need a page for each one?

Only where you genuinely work and have something real to say: projects completed there, local conditions, the services offered in that area. Thin copy-and-paste city pages tend to hurt more than help, so we build service-area content around your actual coverage.

Do you only build on Wix?

No. We build owner-managed websites as well as fully custom websites and business systems. When a project needs advanced quoting logic or integrations, we scope custom development around those requirements. We recommend the platform after reviewing your needs.

Can you help with updates and fixes after our landscaping website launches?

Yes. We remain your point of contact for content changes, project photos, service pages, seasonal promotions, form improvements and technical fixes. Post-launch support follows your project agreement, and optional ongoing SEO and care provide continuing help within your chosen plan. Larger features and paid integrations are discussed and quoted before work begins; continuing support does not mean unlimited free custom development.

Are payment plans available for landscaping websites?

Our website packages offer payment and installment options under the terms currently available on our pricing page and at checkout. Custom websites and business systems are scoped individually, and a project payment schedule can be discussed with your proposal. Available terms and costs are confirmed before you commit.

Package references are on our pricing page.
